Tenor Health Editorial Team

Our editorial policy

What we publish
The Tenor Health Editorial Team publishes educational articles about preventive health, lab testing and how different models of primary care work. Our goal is to help readers understand a topic well enough to have a better conversation with their own clinician.
What we don't do
Our articles don't diagnose conditions, recommend specific treatments or medications, or give personal medical advice. Every reader's situation is different. Decisions about your care belong with a licensed clinician who knows your history.
How we source
We rely on primary sources: government health agencies (such as the CDC and NIH), professional medical organizations (such as the American Diabetes Association) and peer-reviewed research. We link to our sources in every article. When the evidence is limited or mixed, we say so.
How we keep content current
Each article shows the date it was last updated. We review articles regularly and update them when guidelines or research change.
Corrections
If you spot an error, email hello@tenor-health.com. We'll review it and correct the article if needed, noting the date of the update.
Transparency
Tenor Health connects patients with independent clinicians who offer membership-based care. Some articles mention that you can book an intro call with a Tenor clinician. That's an option, never a requirement, and our articles aim to be useful whether or not you choose Tenor.
